Reiki
Reiki is an energy healing modality that promotes relaxation

I was Reiki attuned 8 or so years ago. I overheard that Reiki was helpful for meditating and since I was interested in meditation I decided to try it. Although I could feel energy/tingling in my palms I did not pursue Reiki as I am not a disciplined person, however I believe that as a result my intuition started to develop more deeply, in the background.
Recently, as I began facilitating TRE sessions(Tension Release Exercises), I noticed that intuition was an integral part of the process, and that Reiki was 'flowing through' naturally.
So I decided to honour this process more deeply, I completed my Level II Reiki training and started going to regular Reiki share sessions to develop further. I also started offering Reiki to family and friends and each time I felt that this is a part of me.
Reiki has surprised me on each session, as there is always something new, something unexpected, and it has challenged and continues to challenge me on my own limited belief systems which is invaluable for growth.
